Find Your Perfect Fit

The right fit matters. Our motorcycle apparel is designed to provide a balance of comfort, mobility and protective performance. Use the guide below to choose the right size before ordering.

Need help choosing a size? Contact our team with your measurements and we'll help you select the most suitable size.

📏 How to Measure Yourself

For the most accurate result, measure over a light layer of clothing and keep the measuring tape comfortable without pulling it too tight.

1. Chest

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level across your back.

2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline without tightening the tape.

3. Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

4. Sleeve Length

Measure from the shoulder down to the wrist with your arm slightly bent.

5. Inside Leg

Measure from the crotch to the ankle along the inside of your leg.

👖 Motorcycle Trousers & Jeans

For motorcycle trousers and riding jeans, pay particular attention to:

  • Waist measurement

  • Hip measurement

  • Inside leg

  • Knee position

  • Overall riding position

Motorcycle trousers should feel secure without restricting your movement.

Tip: Try the trousers in a normal riding position. Make sure the knees and protective armour sit correctly when you're seated on your motorcycle.

🏍️ Motorcycle Leather Suit Fitting

A motorcycle leather suit should have a close, secure fit without being painfully tight.

Leather can relax slightly with use, so don't choose an excessively loose size simply for initial comfort.

A properly fitted leather suit should:

✓ Feel secure around the chest and waist
✓ Allow comfortable arm movement
✓ Allow you to bend your knees naturally
✓ Keep protective armour correctly positioned
✓ Avoid excessive loose material
✓ Remain comfortable in your normal riding position

Important: A racing suit should always be assessed while sitting in your normal riding position, not just while standing.

🛡️ Armour Position Matters

Correct sizing isn't only about comfort.

Protective armour needs to remain correctly positioned over the intended body area.

When trying your garment:

  1. Put on the garment correctly.

  2. Fasten all zips and adjustment straps.

  3. Sit in your normal riding position.

  4. Check shoulder, elbow, hip and knee armour positioning.

  5. Move your arms and legs naturally.

  6. Make sure the garment doesn't restrict normal riding movement.

If armour moves significantly out of position, the garment may not be the right size or fit.

📐 Between Two Sizes?

If your measurements fall between two sizes, don't automatically choose the larger size.

Consider:

  • Your intended riding position

  • Whether you wear additional layers

  • The product's specific fit

  • Armour positioning

  • Your chest and waist measurements

If you're still unsure, contact Urban Kevlar® before ordering.

👕 What Should I Wear When Measuring?

For the most accurate measurements, wear:

✓ T-shirt or thin base layer

Avoid measuring over:

✗ Thick jackets
✗ Hoodies
✗ Heavy clothing

This helps prevent selecting a garment that is unnecessarily large.

🔄 Different Products May Fit Differently

Please remember that every garment can have a different cut and intended fit.

A leather racing suit, touring jacket, soft-shell jacket and motorcycle jeans may not fit exactly the same way.

Always check the size chart on the individual product page before purchasing.
